I am a historian of modern Central and Eastern Europe with a particular interest in Hungary and, to a lesser extent, Czechia and Slovakia. Currently, I am a post-doctoral fellow in the ERC project
‘PREWARAS – The Dark side of the Belle Epoque’ at the Padova University, where I explore political violence and armed associations in Hungary before the First World War.
