Amerigo Caruso is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Padua. His research explores European history in the early modern and modern period.
Romain Bonnet completed his doctorate in June 2016 at the European University Institute of Florence (EUI), at the Department of History and Civilization.
I am a historian of modern Central and Eastern Europe with a particular interest in Hungary and, to a lesser extent, Czechia and Slovakia. Currently, I am a post-doctoral fellow in the ERC project
‘PREWARAS – The Dark side of the Belle Epoque’ at the Padova University, where I explore political violence and armed associations in Hungary before the First World War.
